Online casino FullTiltPoker.com has announced that Internet gaming enthusiast ‘CapTinBisKuiT’ beat off competition from a field of 3,784 players to win its $750,000 Guaranteed Texas Hold’em event last week.
The Alderney-licensed site stated that all of the competitors laid down a $200 buy-in each to generate a prize pool totalling $756,800 for the Sunday event with qualifiers being held all week.
The final nine-person table was whittled down to a heads-up between online competitors ‘CapTinBisKuiT’ and ‘Terhahn’, who had survived an earlier scare where he had gone all-in only to lose. But it was ‘CapTinBisKuiT’ who walked away triumphant with $133,991 while ‘Terhahn’ had to settle for second place and its $80,977 prize.
Online competitor ‘GhettoFabolous’ finished in third with $52,976 followed by ‘XJUSTRUNX’ in fourth with $41,775 and ‘Mur917’ in fifth with $31,331. Legendary online player Cliff ‘JohnnyBax’ Josephy hit the rails in sixth to earn $23,233 followed by ‘Janwillemsxm’ in seventh with $17,406 and ‘SkyyistheLimit’ in eighth with $13,622. The first to be eliminated from the final table, ‘GinjarBear’, still took home a very respectable $10,141 for their efforts. |
